Police in Sheffield are appealing for witnesses following a single
vehicle collision on Shepcote Lane yesterday (Saturday 6 October).
At around 1.45pm, it is reported that a silver Audi A3 was travelling
along Shepcote Lane towards Sheffield when it was involved in a
collision with a lamppost, near to the Betafence business premises.
The Audi is understood to have spun in the road, before coming to rest
in the centre of the carriageway.
A passenger travelling in the Audi, a 40-year-old man, suffered serious
injuries and was taken to hospital.
A second passenger in the Audi, a 16-year-old girl, also suffered minor
injuries.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to call 101 quoting incident
number 507 of 6 October 2018.
