A ROAD in Wath has been closed because it has “dangerous manhole covers”.
Derwent Way, off Pontefract Road, has been closed under an emergency order
from Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
A spokeswoman for the council said Yorkshire Water had been asked to attend
to make the road safe.
RMBC reported yesterday in a tweet that Derwent Way off Pontefract Rd in
Wath has been closed under an emergency order due to a problem with
dangerous manhole covers. YorkshireWater have been asked to attend and make
the road safe.
