A 22-year-old man has been charged in connection to the death of a Barnsley
woman earlier this year.
Jill Hibberd, 73, was found dead at her home on Roy Kilner Road, Wombwell on
the morning of Thursday 31 May. She is thought to have died the previous
evening and a post-mortem examination concluded she died as a result of
multiple stab wounds.
Andrew Ashby, 22, of Woolgreaves Avenue, Wakefield was charged yesterday
(Tuesday 21 August) with assisting an offender in connection to her death.
He is now on bail to appear before Barnsley Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday
12 September.
Lee Trevor Fueloep, 40, of Willow Garth, Wombwell, was charged with murder
and burglary in June and is remanded until his next court appearance.
