Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the Dearne
Valley Parkway, Barnsley, yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 4 July), in which a
woman suffered life-threatening injuries.
At around 1.45pm, it is reported that a black Vauxhall Astra, a white Daf
box van and a white Scania HGV articulated lorry were involved in a
collision on the A635 Dearne Valley Parkway, Goldthorpe.
A 38-year-old woman driving the Astra suffered life-threatening injuries and
was taken to hospital where she remains in a critical but stable condition.
