A woman who died following a collision in the Brierley area of Barnsley has
today been named as Jacqueline Wileman.
Mrs Wileman, 58, was involved in a collision with a HGV on Common Road, at
around 1.40pm yesterday (Friday 14 September). The HGV then travelled on to
Park View, where it collided with the front of a house. Mrs Wileman was
sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family have today released these pictures of her and have asked that
their privacy is respected at this incredibly difficult time. They continue
to be supported by specialist officers.
They said: “We are grateful to everyone for their kind messages of
condolence and support so far and would like to ask that you continue to
respect our privacy as we come to terms with what has happened and grieve
for Jacqueline.
“We would also like to express our thanks to those on Common Road and Park
View yesterday, who assisted at the scene and ask anyone who was there, or
who has any information, to please get in touch with the police so that they
can bring those responsible to justice.”

He is due to appear in court in Edinburgh later today. Sky News are reporting that proceedings are now live under the Contempt of Court Act. Police did not say what Salmond, who served as first minister from 2007 to 2014, is charged with. Two people have made harassment complaints against the SNP grandee but he denies them and took successful legal action against the Scottish government over their investigation. Earlier this month a court said the government’s decisions were “procedurally unfair and… tainted with apparent bias”. At the time Salmond said he is “not guilty of any criminality whatsoever.” The party leader resigned following the loss of the Scottish independence referendum but represented Gordon in the House of Commons from 2015 to 2017.
