Police are asking witnesses to come forward after a motorbike rider was left with serious injuries following a collision in Sheffield.
Just after 2.30pm on Saturday 2 September, a grey Nissan Micra and a white Triumph Triple R motorbike were involved in a collision on New Road, Bradfield, at the junction with Briers House Lane.
The Micra had been driving along New Road, from Sheffield towards Low Bradfield, when it turned into Briers House Lane, to turn round and go back the way it came.
The motorbike was travelling along New Road, from Sheffield, when the collision happened.
The rider of the bike, a 59-year-old man, suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. He currently remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A 21-year-old woman driving the Nissan was not injured during the collision.

He is due to appear in court in Edinburgh later today. Sky News are reporting that proceedings are now live under the Contempt of Court Act. Police did not say what Salmond, who served as first minister from 2007 to 2014, is charged with. Two people have made harassment complaints against the SNP grandee but he denies them and took successful legal action against the Scottish government over their investigation. Earlier this month a court said the government’s decisions were “procedurally unfair and… tainted with apparent bias”. At the time Salmond said he is “not guilty of any criminality whatsoever.” The party leader resigned following the loss of the Scottish independence referendum but represented Gordon in the House of Commons from 2015 to 2017.
