Information sought after man seriously injured in Thurnscoe

Detectives have issued an appeal for information after a man was
discovered with serious injuries in Thurnscoe.

Paramedics were called at around 4.40pm on Thursday 2 April to a
property in Monsal Street, where they then called police after
discovering a man with serious injuries.

The 46-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he remains in a
critical condition.

Two men, aged 31 and 41-years-old, have been arrested on suspicion of
assault. Both have been bailed pending further enquiries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may hold information about the
circumstances surrounding how the man came to be injured.
