Police in Doncaster want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed a
collision in the Stainforth area yesterday (Tuesday 18 September) after an
elderly woman suffered serious injuries.
At around 5.50pm, it is reported that an 83-year-old woman pedestrian was
walking across the Asda supermarket carpark on Station Road, Stainforth. For
reasons unknown, it is believed that the woman fell to the ground.
A blue Toyota RAV4 is then reported to have been involved in a collision
with the elderly woman.
The 83-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area
yesterday or who may hold dashcam footage of the collision.
