Fail to stop collision in Barnsley – did you see anything?

Officers are appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop collision in the
Royston area of Barnsley at the end of August.

At around 8pm on Thursday 30 August, police received reports a grey BMW
320D with the registration CK55 SVW, had failed to stop after colliding
with two pedestrians on Midland Road, around 15 metres after the
junction with The Lane.

The pedestrians, a 33-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man, sustained
serious injuries.

It is believed the occupants of the car had been involved in an argument
with the pedestrians prior to the collision.

Police in Barnsley have been making enquiries into the incident and are
now appealing for information and witnesses.
