E-fit released in connection with Sheffield robbery and burglary

Detectives investigating the robbery and burglary of two elderly women
in their 80’s have released an e-fit of a man they wish to identify.

Both incidents occurred in the Netherthorpe area of Sheffield. The first
incident was a robbery, which took place at 6.45pm on 3 October. It is
reported that an unknown man knocked at the door of a property in the St
Philip’s Road area. The occupant opened the door and was pushed to the
floor. She suffered minor injuries. He left with a small quantity of
cash.

The second incident was a burglary in the Bolsover Street area at 8.40pm
on 8 October. It is reported the offender confronted the occupant in her
home demanding money before making off with £20.

Investigating officers have since worked with both victims to produce
the e-fit image shown.
