CCTV still released after Rotherham mobile phone theft

Officers investigating the theft of a mobile phone in Rotherham would
like to speak to this man, who may be able to help with their enquiries.

It is reported that on 29 December 2019, a 55-year-old man accidentally
left his phone behind on the seat of a taxi when he got out.

A short time later, another man got into the taxi and took the phone,
and made no known attempts to return it to its owner.

After exhausting all other lines of enquiry, police now want to speak to
man pictured as they believe he might hold information that could help
our officers to investigate further.
