South Anston post office robbery

Police are appealing for information following a reported armed robbery
which took place at a post office in South Anston on 14 October at
4.25pm.

It is believed that two suspects entered the premises before demanding
money with what has been described as a handgun. They made off with a
small amount of cash.

A 32-year-old man was detained shortly afterwards. Tomas Marcin
TASZEWSKI, of Lordens Hill, Rotherham was charged on suspicion of
robbery and has appeared at Sheffield Magistrates Court.

A second man, Callum John EDWARDS, aged 25 of Plantation Court,
Dinnington has been charged on suspicion of robbery and remanded to
appear at Sheffield Magistrates Court this morning (17 October). He has
also been charged with three separate counts of burglary and two counts
of failing to appear at court.

Two other men arrested on suspicion of robbery have been bailed pending
further enquiries.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Police on 101 referencing
incident 646 of 14/10 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
