POLLING TO-DAY. Polling is taking place to-day at 39 stations at
Rotherham. The constituency is a wide one, and very largely composed of
a working class population, miners predominating. For the first hour
voters came up fairly satisfactorily. It is generally expected that the
poll will be heavy, and will top previous records. The register contains
