A person has been arrested after a police helicopter was “persistently”
targeted by a laser pen.
The National Police Air Service helicopter had a green laser shone into the
cockpit while it was responding to an emergency call in Barnsley at about
20:30 last night.
A suspect with a laser pen was later found and arrested, police say.
