Enjoy a classic children’s tale as libraries “pop up” at Rotherham
Theatres!

Dear Zoo, appearing at Rotherham Theatres in May

Story time is coming to Rotherham Theatres – which has teamed up with
the borough’s libraries to host a “pop up library” alongside some of the
most popular tales for little ones in April and May.

The “Pop up Library” will be visiting Rotherham’s Civic Theatre for the
following productions:

* The Tiger Who Came to Tea – Sunday 14 and Monday 15 April
* There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly – Saturday 18 May
* Dear Zoo – Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May

The libraries will be open one hour before the start of the show in the
theatre café/bar area and families will be able to browse and borrow a
selection of children’s books.

If you or your children are not already library members, don’t worry –
staff will be able to sign you up on the day.

Councillor Sarah Allen, Rotherham Council’s Cabinet Member for Cleaner,
Greener Communities said: “I hope that families who may not always get
time to visit their local library can take advantage of this “pop up
library” and get a flavour of some of the great books that are available
to borrow.”

For more information on the shows or to book, see the Rotherham Theatres
website.
